Exercice 1 : Transformez a la voix passive

Reecrivez chaque phrase a la forme passive :

  1. The teacher corrects the homework every day.
  2. Someone stole my laptop last night.
  3. They will build a new hospital next year.
  4. The manager has approved the budget.
  5. People speak Portuguese in Brazil.
  6. The company is launching a new product.
  7. They had already finished the work.
  8. You must complete the form before Friday.

Corriges :

  1. The homework is corrected (by the teacher) every day.
  2. My laptop was stolen last night.
  3. A new hospital will be built next year.
  4. The budget has been approved (by the manager).
  5. Portuguese is spoken in Brazil.
  6. A new product is being launched (by the company).
  7. The work had already been finished.
  8. The form must be completed before Friday.

Exercice 2 : Corrigez les erreurs

Chaque phrase contient une erreur. Identifiez-la et corrigez-la :

  1. The book was wrote by a famous author.
  2. The meeting has been cancel.
  3. English is speak in many countries.
  4. The cake eaten by the children.
  5. The window was breaking during the storm.
  6. It was happened last Monday.

Corriges :

  1. The book was written by a famous author. (PP irregulier)
  2. The meeting has been cancelled. (PP = cancelled, pas cancel)
  3. English is spoken in many countries. (PP de speak = spoken)
  4. The cake was eaten by the children. (auxiliaire BE manquant)
  5. The window was broken during the storm. (PP, pas -ing)
  6. It happened last Monday. (happen = intransitif, pas de passif)

Exercice 3 : Completez avec la forme passive correcte

Conjuguez le verbe entre parentheses a la forme passive au temps indique :

  1. The report __________ (write) by the team. [Present Perfect]
  2. French __________ (teach) in many schools. [Present Simple]
  3. The bridge __________ (build) in 1920. [Past Simple]
  4. The package __________ (deliver) right now. [Present Continuous]
  5. The email __________ (send) before the deadline. [Future Simple]
  6. All the tickets __________ (sell) by the time we arrived. [Past Perfect]
  7. This issue __________ (can / resolve) quickly.
  8. Mistakes __________ (should / correct) immediately.

Corriges :

  1. The report has been written by the team.
  2. French is taught in many schools.
  3. The bridge was built in 1920.
  4. The package is being delivered right now.
  5. The email will be sent before the deadline.
  6. All the tickets had been sold by the time we arrived.
  7. This issue can be resolved quickly.
  8. Mistakes should be corrected immediately.

Exercice 4 : Actif ou passif ?

Indiquez si chaque phrase est a la voix active (A) ou passive (P) :

  1. The students completed the exam on time.
  2. The results were published online.
  3. A new policy has been introduced.
  4. The CEO announced the merger.
  5. The building is being renovated.
  6. She received an award for her work.

Corriges :

  1. A — The students (sujet) completed (verbe actif).
  2. P — were published (BE + PP).
  3. P — has been introduced (HAVE + been + PP).
  4. A — The CEO (sujet actif) announced.
  5. P — is being renovated (BE + being + PP).
  6. A — She (sujet actif) received.
